✱ LOGO DESIGN
✱ BRANDING PACKAGE
✱ ILLUSTRATION
THE ASK:
Bunhead Bakery is a South London-based bakery that makes sourdough buns inspired by Palestinian flavours, in need of branding ahead of opening their first brick-and-mortar. The ask was to clean up the existing hand-doodled logo, introduce a text-only logo, refine the colour palette, assign fonts, and create two illustrations for merchandise.
THE SOLUTION:
As Bunhead Bakery was already iconic locally, I felt it was important to keep
the existing logo, but refine and clean it up so it could be used in more
versatile environments.
THE OUTCOME:
The choice of typeface on the typographic logo intends to carry the same energy that the illustrative logo had-fun, playful, and lighthearted. The client had asked for the Palestinian flag colours to be featured in the branding, so kept the primary brand colour red (two tones for versatility) and introduced a secondary colour palette of stone, green, and black for use online and on merch.
